Kandy - the last kingdom in Sri Lanka, in the central foothills of the Island, is the home of Le Kandyan.
Famous for his annual pageant - the Kandy Perehera, the Botanical Garden in Peradeniva, the Dalada Maligawa which houses the tooth relic of Buddha, the picturesque University Campus, and also renowned for its handicrafts in brass and silver. The aroma of tea is not too distant either. Le Kandyan lies in the forested hills of Heerassagala.
